Licensing of the Colibri sessions
For maximum availability and efficiency in using the licensing of the Colibri/ZOOM service acquired by FCCN/FCT, the system realizes a recycling process that retrieves both assigned and out-of-use licenses. (aspets outside of DSIC/IPL control)
If no rules are followed the session may not have the proper licensing and will be stopped at the end of 40 or limited in number of users.
Follows the best identified strategy, input from the experience of diverse faculty to be able to hold sessions with the proper privileges.
On the page of Colibri user profile should check if your access is considered to be: User Type: Licensed
If it is indicated as User Type: Basic should not start class, as this will be limited to 40.
We advise that 10 a to 15 before class time, realize Logout and go back to make Login / Profile to ensure attribution of the licensing (may have been recycled during inactivity).
Confirm that is now found to be User Type: Licensed in the presented user profile and so the class will not be interrupted at 40.
Please note that, in peak system utilization peaks, total cessation of contracted licensing may occur and not be able to obtain license, until an ongoing session is closed.
